Grade 40 covers most general construction. Grade 60 is the higher yield bar and you should use it wherever the structural drawing specifies it — substituting down is not a saving, it is a liability.
The ribs are how the grade is read. Every bundle we send is tagged, and the tag is what the challan is written against. Check one against the other before you unload; we would rather you caught a problem on the truck than in the pour.

There is no formal minimum. We sell single lengths and full trailers, though the rate improves with tonnage and freight makes very small out-of-city orders expensive.
