What to have ready

The section
Bar, plate, coil, pipe, angle. A photo of the drawing or an old challan is enough.
The size and grade
Diameter or section, thickness, and the grade if the drawing calls for one.
The quantity
Tons, pieces or running feet. Any of the three; we convert at our end.
Where it goes
The delivery city and whether a trailer can reach the site. Freight is quoted separately.
