SS Traders has been buying and selling steel and iron in Karachi for over three decades. In that time the mills have changed, the rates have changed, and the market has changed hands more than once. What has not changed is how we quote: the grade you asked for, the weight you paid for, on the day we said.

Sariya rates move daily with the mill and the dollar, so we do not publish a figure that would be stale by the afternoon. WhatsApp the size and tonnage to 0334 8398777 and you will have today’s rate the same day, with the grade confirmed.
SS Traders has traded steel and iron from Karachi since 1995. We hold sariya, MS plate and sheet, HR and CR coil, GI plain and corrugated sheet, pipe, purlin, cable tray and colour coated coil, and deliver across Pakistan.
It depends on the diameter. One ton is roughly 133 bars of 10 mm, 92 of 12 mm, 52 of 16 mm, 33 of 20 mm and 21 of 25 mm, at 40 ft lengths. The steel weight calculator works out any size.

Yes. We dispatch to Lahore, Faisalabad, Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Multan, Hyderabad, Sukkur, Quetta and Peshawar among others. Freight is quoted separately because it depends on destination, tonnage and whether the load fills a truck.
It depends on the item. Coil and plate normally move in full-ton lots. Bars, pipes, angles and sheets can go out in smaller quantities. Tell us what you need and we will say plainly whether it is workable.
Sheets and plates can be cut, and coil can be slit to width, subject to the size and the quantity. Cutting charges are quoted with the material so there is no surprise on the bill.
New buyers usually work on advance or against delivery. Regular account holders are handled case by case — speak to Ali Hayat about terms once you have a few orders behind you.
